Hartford Technologies bearing experts work with internal combustion engine manufacturers to provide the highest quality engine bearings and rolling elements in the industry.

These bearings can be used with a full needle roller or as a cam follower with a single shaft passing through its inner diameter.

These bearings are made of the best quality bearing steel and are durable without any obvious wear. Our heat treatment process can also ensure that the steel is completely hardened, resulting in 100% martensite microstructure and zero residual austenite. Our grinding operation has been improved to produce ultra-smooth and ultra-fine machining.

Perhaps the most important feature of the bearing is the geometry of the ground surface. It is necessary that the stress is not concentrated at the end of the bearing. If the bearing is loaded centrally at its end, it will produce stress concentration and lead to premature failure. Our grinding and superfinishing operations can grind the crown features, thus intentionally concentrating the load on the center of the bearing. Ultra-precision bearings may need logarithmic distribution along the bearing surface, so that the load is more specific in the whole distribution. When you move from the center of the bearing to both ends, the linear distance increases, and the bearing profile will have a small logarithmic decrease. We can control the profile tolerance to 0.005mm
