Stainless steel balls are usually used to control the flow in the watering distribution device. Most people will remember the water bottle used in the hamster cage, in which the weight of the steel ball provides a seal to prevent water flow.

When the ball is pressed, the seal is released and water flows out. When the contact is removed, the ball will return to its original position and stop the flow of water. Due to this design, the non-precision ball can be used as a holding feature of the tube. This concept is applied to the bird feeding system of poultry farms.
