AISI 420 stainless steel ball has good wear resistance and hardness. Compared with 440C, the hardness is slightly lower but the corrosion resistance is stronger.

Corrosion resistance

Stainless steel ball has excellent corrosion resistance to mild atmosphere, fresh water, steam, blood, ammonia, petroleum products and weak acid environment.
