Chromium steel is a bearing grade alloy steel. This material is called 52100 steel in the United States, 100Cr6 in Europe, SUJ2 in Japan and GCr15 in China. This fine-grained martensitic steel has high hardness, excellent wear resistance and surface characteristics, and is very suitable for manufacturing chromium steel balls. Chromium steel is an excellent material for balls used in various applications such as food grinding systems, vibration finishing, linear moving parts and check valves.

Chromium steel ball has high hardness, deformation resistance and excellent wear resistance. Hartford's chrome balls are made of the best quality chrome alloy electric furnace steel and are hardened to achieve maximum strength and service life. Our SPC process ensures the highest dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
