Plastic bearings are lighter, non-magnetic and have low friction coefficient, which means that they generate less heat. Plastic bearings usually allow for more flexible design. Moreover, they have strong resistance to dust, dirt, chemicals and corrosive agents. The high elastic plastic bearing designed by us can operate permanently without lubrication - making its service life long and almost maintenance-free.

With the help of Hartford's advanced modeling software and bearing design prototype program, it is possible to quickly design and make modifications to standard hole diameter or outer diameter or special features (such as thin section).

For many plastic bearing projects, Hartford Technologies uses polyformaldehyde/acetal/Delrin (POM), which is a semi-crystalline engineering polymer. This polymer combines high strength with excellent impact and fatigue resistance.
